She is an experienced and motivating teacher for over 2 decades. She has a passion and great talent in teaching. She communicates well with the students. She inspires them. Her teaching emphasizes the importance of balancing technique, theory, sight reading, listening, performing, and developing the ability to connect with music intellectually and emotionally. She often organizes and takes students to play for senior homes, community events, benefit concerts, etc. The students will learn on the road how to enjoy music and share with others. Concerts  

In Addition this solo concerts, Ms. Chang also plays concertos with the orchestras, accompanies, collaborates with other musicians, and is an avid chamber musician. She has performed with members of National Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, National Philharmonic Orchestra, Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, White House Orchestra, and Army Band. Her performance includes the Dame Myra Hess Series, Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Roosevelt Hall, Trinity Church Series, Shriver Hall and Center of Strathmore. She has given master classes and lecture recitals in George Washington University, Savannah On Stage Festival, Mannes School of Music, Delaware State College, Levine School of Music, McDaniel College, La Plata University, Georgetown University, New England Conservatory, U.S. State Department, and World Piano Pedagogy Conference.


She has performed in schools, given lectures, lecture recitals and workshops in meetings and conventions with various topics, commentary and program notes. Topics such as Great Masters of the Past, Titans of Russian Music, Spanish Music, Women Composers, Patriotic Celebrations, American Portraits and Chinese New Year Music.

She has frequently judged for solo, ensemble, and chamber music in the local, State and National competitions.
